Neil and Sonya Chitty
We arrived at Bethany Community Church in 2005 where Neil was asked to work full-time as the senior leader. It has been so exciting seeing the Church grow not only numerically but with an increasing hunger to see the Kingdom of God advance in the town and the surrounding villages.
We are passionate about God and long to see the church experience more of His love and power to equip them for the things he has for us in the future.
We have two wonderful children, Isaac (5) and Ameera (3). We love watching films, playing games and eating. So any offers for the aforementioned would be greatly welcomed, especially the last special interest!
Tony and Nina Foord
We met and married in Cambridge and lived on Teeside and Macclesfield, Cheshire, before moving to Harpenden to join Bethany in 1988. We now live below the Harpenden water tower and have 3 married children and 4 grandchildren.
I work from home for 4-sight Consulting as an engineer specialising in safety and reliability for energy, process and transport companies in between encouraging the church, playing badminton and visiting friends and family. Nina worked first as a primary school teacher then, after many years as a full-time mother, a university administrator and now part-time as office manager for 4-sight Consulting. Nina enjoys reading and photography (especially of the grandchildren!) We are both into e-mail and texting as well as more normal means of communication.
Steve and Liz Low
We live in Carpenders Close, Harpenden and have one daughter, Georgina. During the week I am a Customer Services Manager for a Japanese company, manufacturing equipment for the Printing Industry. Liz works part-time in the Bethany Office, teaches piano and also writes for Scripture Union.
Bethany Community Church is in association with newfrontiers and a member of the Evangelical Alliance and Churches Together in Harpenden (CTH) and is a registered charity. Charity Number 1085701.
